This site was conceived and created by the Center for Neo-Hellenic Studies (Spoudasterio Neou Hellenismou, hence the acronym snhell) in Athens, Greece. Our Center is a non-profit organization, and was set up in late 1996 in order to promote Modern Greek Literature and Culture, both in Greece and abroad. Our web site is designed for Greek speakers, so there is only a Greek Version currently available. In order to view it properly, you have to download the appropriate Greek fonts, install them in your computer and make the necessary adjustments in your browser. We welcome any comments or suggestions (and that includes corrections)!
